I've got a 2000 silverado 1500 4.8 2wd ext cab. I just replaced the fuel pump at 169k miles (was making noise and stalled out a couple times) I replaced it with an ac Delco pump and also replaced the fuel filter with a WIX filter. After replacing the pump and the truck started just fine idled and ran great. The next day once at operating temperature if I shut the truck off and went to re start it, it would go up to about 1k rpms and then immediately stall and would do that a couple times...
